We are a small group of independent optical practices based in South Wales. Our aim is to provide a high quality professional eye care service delivered with a personal touch.

The first ‘Darlington Opticians’ practice was established in Merthyr Tydfil in 1967 by John Darlington who retired after 36 years as an Optician and Contact Lens Specialist in 2003. The practices in Merthyr Tydfil and Tredegar are now run by his youngest son Mr Paul Darlington MCOptom, Prof Cert LV, Prof Cert Glauc.
